Martijn Tel is the Chief Financial Officer at SiriusDecisions. Prior to joining SiriusDecisions, he was most recently at McGraw-Hill Education, where he built and recruited staff for the corporate finance departments and set up the management reporting to meet the needs of the new private equity owners at Apollo Global Management. He also worked at Archipelago Learning (now Edmentum), a SaaS Ed Tech company that saw its revenues double during his three years there. Martijn was an integral part of the team that took the company public and later private again, returning over 300 percent to Providence Equity Partners. Earlier, he held CFO positions with Reed Elsevier, Harcourt Education and Medical Media Holdings (a Providence Equity Partners company).
Martijn has undergraduate and graduate degrees in business and finance from Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. He also has a post-graduate Dutch “RC” accreditation (comparable to US CMA qualification, plus parts of the CPA program).
