Amanda Jensen currently serves as Practice Director of Learning at SiriusDecisions, focused on expanding Sirius’ innovative e-learning courses and certificates. Amanda has been at the forefront of innovation in e-learning, fusing her negotiation, project management and strategy experience in the U.S. State Department’s diplomatic corps with her interest in technology and neuroeducation to create opportunities for people to learn and excel.
Previously, Amanda served as Dean, Sr. Manager and then head of Business Development in a fully online university focused on educating adult students in analysis and security. In these roles, she created programs in cyber, corporate security, foreign languages and doctoral-level security studies, and gained extensive program management, marketing and business development experience. Her neuroeducation-based learning therapies have been featured at conferences around the country, and her online language model is considered a groundbreaking fusion of immersive, functional and grammatical curriculum design.
Prior to her work in education, Amanda spent almost a decade advancing international initiatives, developing foreign policy and managing U.S. government projects in Indonesia, Vietnam and Washington, D.C. Amanda earned her MS in Strategic Intelligence from the National Intelligence University and her BA in International Relations and Spanish from the University of Virginia. She speaks Spanish and Vietnamese.
